Programme Objectives

This PC will equip learners with the following competencies:

• Acquire familiarity with the end-to-end industry-standard data analysis and visualization techniques
• Develop beginner-level proficiency in writing efficient, reusable code for data manipulation and analysis
• Create data visualizations using best-practice libraries and frameworks
• Become familiar with best practices in data science workflows

It will prepare learners in the following job roles to perform their responsibilities more effectively/ It will prepare learners for the following job roles:

• Data Analyst
• Business Intelligence Analyst
• Data Scientist

Courses

Note: You are required to attend and complete the “Begins With Me” series before you can attend “Continues With Me” series: 

1. Data Analytics Begins With Me (Faculty of Science, 1 day)
2. Data Analytics Continues With Me (Faculty of Science, 2 days)
3. Data Science & Data Visualization using Python Programming (Faculty of Science, 3 days)

The proposed PC was designed to meet the needs of:

• Industry companies and organizations who look to upskill their employees in data science and data visualization using industry-standard tools.

Candidature Duration

All three short courses to be completed within 12 months from the first class start date.
