Minor In Statistics

This minor is not awarded with major in Statistics, Statistics with specialization in Biostatistics, Statistics with specialization in Finance and Business Statistics, and second major in Statistics.
           

FASS students of the 2006 cohort and onwards are allowed to read a minor in Statistics.
           

To be awarded a minor in Statistics, a student should meet the following four requirements:

  • Pass one of MA1102R or MA1312 or MA1507 or MA1505 or MA1505C or MA1521
  • Pass ST2131/ MA2216 or ST2334
  • Pass ST2132 and ST3131
  • Pass 1 module from ST32xx, and 1 other module from ST32xx, EC3304, EC4303, IE3101, DSC3215, FIN3116, FIN3119, MA3259 and LSM3241
